Why do you suppose Archie would make an adaptation of Sonic Adventure but not Sonic Adventure 2? I was pretty sure they’d make one, and right now I’m kicking myself because I didn’t subscribe earlier and missed issue #98. Drat.
The SA adaptation was required by Sega. Because things that have been done by both companies, such as Sega refusing to give any info on the actual story of SA so that Archie had to base most of their plot on Spaz’ gameplay & Archie’s publishers cancelling Knuckles & the Super Specials, there’s pretty much been a current agreement for no more full fledged adaptations, just previews/prequels of games that Sega orders. –True Red
