Last week I sent a second email to CiTV about the edits they have been making to Sonic X. As well pointing out how noticeable the edits are & asking if the repeats they are showing would be uncut, I also asked if they would be getting the second set of Sonic X episodes (The Chaos Emerald Saga). I recently received this reply:Dear Joseph
thanks for your email, yes we will be airing unedited episodes whenever the timing of the schedule allows so I hope you enjoy the next transmissions.
We haven’t yet made the decision about series 2, a lot depends on how successful the repeats are but also what other programmes we could acquire.

They ignored the comments I made about how obvious their edits are, but at least it looks like most of the repeats will be unedited. The 2 shown so far seem unedited – although I don’t think all of them will be, hopefully the episodes that were edited on 1st showing (episodes 10-13) will be shown unedited.
One important thing we have learnt from the email is how much the future of Sonic X on CiTV relies on the success of the repeats. So watch as many of the repeats as you can & get your friends to watch it as well! The more viewers the more chance the Chaos Emerald saga & beyond will be shown on CiTV!
I’ll be sending one more email to CiTV, but I don’t think there is much point in me continually emailing them – However the more people that email them, the more chance there is that they will act on our comments.
